Error: MAPI of Microsoft Mail...is not installed (due to wrong version used).
Error:
MAPI of Microsoft Mail for Windows is not installed. You cannot send fax but can print fax images to file.
Cause:
An earlier, unusable version of Mail is being used.
Solution:
Use Mail versions higher than 3.x, use Microsoft Exchange, or set the Microsoft Fax driver to print to FILE.
Do one of the following:
1) To use Microsoft Exchange, do the following:
a) Click 'Start' todisplay the Windows 'Start' menu.
Start menu
b) Select the 'Settings' menu and select 'Printers...'.
c) Click 'Properties...'.
d) Set the Microsoft Fax driver to GENI.
e) Click 'OK'.
f) Click 'OK'.
2) To set the Microsoft FAX driver to print to FILE, do the following:
a) Reconfigure the Microsoft Fax driver, printing to FILE.
b) Return to an application.
c) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Print'.
d) Click the 'Options...' tab.
e) Assign the file a .DCX file name.
f) Click 'OK'.
g) Close the 'Print' dialog box.
h) Attach the .DCX file to a Microsoft Mail message or in Windows or Exchange.
